Hot Cocoa with Marshmallows

Satisfy your chocolate cravings with this easy-to-make recipe!


4 segments Cortés Chocolate

2 liters heavy cream

1 liter milk

1 star anise

5 sweet cloves

1 cinnamon stick

1 tsp white vanilla extract

1 cup marshmallows


Pour the heavy cream and the milk in a pot and bring to a boil. When it starts boiling, lower the temperature and add the chocolate. Stir with a wooden spoon. After the chocolate dissolves, add the anise, cloves, cinnamon, and vanilla. Turn the heat off and leave covered for 20 minutes to let the spices steep and release their flavors. When ready to serve, reheat and add the marshmallows.
