Coffee Cake de Chocolate Cortés con Canela

Cortés Chocolate and Cinnamon Coffee Cake

INGREDIENTS

1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour

¾ cup brown sugar

¼ tsp salt

1/3 cup butter, diced

1 tsp baking powder

¼ tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

2/3 cup buttermilk

1/4 cup sour cream

2 oz Cortés Bar with Cinnamon

1 egg, beaten

PROCEDURE

  1. Prepare a bundt pan by greasing and dusting it with a bit of flour.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  3. Melt the Cortés Bar with Cinnamon and mix it with sour cream.
  4. Combine the flour, sugar, and salt. Add the butter cubes to the flour mixture and, using two knives, cut the butter to form a crumbly mix. Set aside ¼ cup of this mixture.
  5. Add the baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon to the remaining flour mixture. Add the egg and buttermilk and mix well. Pour this mixture into the prepared pan.
  6. Add spoonfuls of the Cortés Bar with Cinnamon mixture evenly. Insert a skewer or knife vertically and carefully drag it throughout the mixture. This will spread the chocolate mixture through the batter without mixing it completely. The idea is to create a marbled effect.
  7. Sprinkle with the remaining flour and butter mixture.
  8. Bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy with a delicious cup of Cortés Chocolate or Coffee.
