Chocolaty Cookies

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup dark brown sugar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 egg

1 cup Cortés Ground Chocolate

2 tbsp water

1 1/2 cup wheat flour

1/2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup Cortés Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

PROCEDURE

Preheat the oven to 275 °F. Mix the ground chocolate with the water for 30 seconds, until it is dissolved. With an electric mixer, mix the butter and the dark brown and granulated sugars until creamy. Continue by adding the egg and the vanilla. Slowly sift and mix in the flour and the baking soda. Add the melted ground chocolate. Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Cover the trays with wax paper and lay out the cookies, keeping a space of one inch (1″) from each other. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until they are golden brown. Enjoy!
