Cortés Chocolate and Coffee Glaze

This exquisite coffee and #CortésChocolate glaze is perfect for any chocolate dessert.


1 pack of cream cheese (8 oz)

1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature

½ cup vegetable shortening (optional to harden the glaze)

5 cups powdered sugar

1 pinch salt

3 tbsp Cortés Ground Chocolate

1 tbsp instant coffee

2 tbsp warm water

1 tbsp coffee liqueur

¼ Cortés Chocolate Ready to Drink, cold


  1. In a cup, mix the instant coffee with water and the coffee liqueur.
  2. Beat the butter, cream cheese, and shortening until you get a creamy mixture.
  3. Slowly add the sugar, salt, and Cortés Ground Chocolate.
  4. Add the coffee mixture.
  5. Add the cold Cortés Chocolate Ready to Drink.
