Tierrita de Chocolate Cortés para Halloween

Spooky “Tierrita” (“Sweet Earth”) Parfait with Cortés Chocolate

The kids will have fun preparing this yummy snack for your Halloween party. This recipe includes prepared brownies and pudding. In a clear cup, make one layer of crumbled brownie, a layer of pudding, and then another layer of crumbled brownie. Garnish with chocolate headstones and paper ghosts propped up on toothpicks.

Prep time: 1 hour

INGREDIENTS

Cortés Chocolate pudding:

1/3 cup sugar

3 tbsp cornstarch

1 cup Cortés Chocolate Chips

2 cups fresh milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

Cortés Chocolate brownies:

4 tbsp butter

1 cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 eggs

½ cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup Cortés Sugar-Free Cocoa

¼ tsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt

2 oz espresso coffee, ready made

PROCEDURE

Pudding:

  1. Dissolve the cornstarch into ½ cup of fresh milk.
  2. In a pot, mix the milk, sugar, Cortés Chocolate Chips, vanilla, and dissolved cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, for 5 to 6 minutes, until the mix thickens and all the Cortés Chocolate Chips have melted.

Brownies:

  1. Grease a square 9-inch pan.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 °F.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the butter, sugar, and vanilla thoroughly. Add the eggs, one by one, and mix well with a wooden spoon.
  4. In another bowl, mix the flour, Cortés Sugar-Free Cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture.
  6. Add the espresso coffee.
  7. Pour the mixture into the greased pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. They will be ready when you see the edges start separating from the pan.

For the “earth”:
