Chocolate Cortés Customer Satisfaction Policy

Thanks for ordering/shopping at Chocolate Cortés. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase we’re here to help.

Perishable Items 

In the event that an error has been made with your order, you must contact us within 1 day of receiving your package/s and we will try our best to remedy the situation, but we cannot provide any guarantee of return/refund/exchange of perishable items after the 1-day time period has expired.

Shipping, Return and Refund Policy

All orders are shipped via USPS, FedEx or UPS, which ever rate is cheaper at the time of purchase. Once the transaction has been completed, and in an effort to deliver all products in a timely manner, your order may be fulfilled in multiple shipments. If at any item in your order is delayed or back-ordered, we will ship the item/s as soon as it/they become available. As a result, you may receive more than one shipment for each placed order.
Please note: All orders are shipped Monday through Friday only during regular business hours, from 9am to 5pm EST. Saturday and Sunday deliveries are not available. Overnight air shipping is not available. Delivery time is from the point of order fulfillment, not from the time of order placement.

Online Ordering Policy

Chocolate Cortés may offer the ability to order from our website online from any location. However, we will fulfill shipments to United States and international. Except (Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic) These terms apply only to orders placed through this site. Prices will be shown as you place your order. Minimum order amounts may apply. Any applicable delivery fees, cancellation fees, taxes and other amounts due in connection with your order will be notified at the time you place your order. There may be limits on the quantity of items within an order placed on our site. Once the order fulfillment process is complete, each customer is responsible for his/her package final delivery process for item acquisition and item pick up. We use third party billing providers and accept various methods of payments.

Chocolate Cortés is responsible for fulfilling your order and for replying to any questions/comments regarding and during the process of finalizing your order. Partial or full refunds, if any, of amounts paid for or on cancelled orders will be identified at the time of settlement. Associated payment processing costs may apply on these transactions. Additional details about online ordering services are available upon request.

Delivery Policy

We take pride in our customer service at Chocolate Cortés, which includes not only the quality of our products, but also the reliability and commitment of delivery. In order to ensure our quality of service, we require that any claims or cancellations to your order be made at least 24 hours prior to your delivery.

Please note:

  • Your delivery fee does not include tip for the delivery man/woman
  • Delivery times cannot be guaranteed
  • We do deliver to P.O. boxes
  • A recipient signature will be required for some deliveries to validate the delivery process

For residential deliveries: If the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, it is up to the mail courier to see if it is acceptable to leave the purchased goods there. In the event that the recipient is unable to receive their order, the full monetary amount of the order will still be charged to the payment method used in your order. If you notice that there is an error in the recipient’s address, please contact us to correct the delivery and order information as soon as possible.
